There are lots of great websites out there that offer advice to organizations looking for social business help - particularly for smaller organizations. So why create another?
Joel has built a career helping businesses look great by using technology in creative ways. Most recently, as a social business practitioner, Joel had to create a bunch of content and invent new ways of thinking for his company. Training content, measurement models – you name it, he’s created it. If he had been able to find this content somewhere else, it would have saved him (and his company) a ton of time and energy.
There are two primary reasons why Joel created TheSocialWhat.
1. It’s about “What.” Not “Why.”
With apologies to Simon Sinek, Joel thrives on the execution- he loves rolling his sleeves up and getting tactical. He feels there are so many good answers to the question “why social for business?” that there aren’t enough answers to questions like “how do I do social in business?” So his first aim with TheSocialWhat is to share his own experiences transforming a $1 Billion organization into a social business leader. In the process, his goal is to provide some practical, specific content that may answer some of the challenges your business/enterprise is also facing.
2. Provide material your business can use – right away
Joel promises that everything he shares at TheSocialWhat will save you time and be ready to use. Videos, tips, tricks, training content – all of it will be material you can use in your business right away.
To make it easy to find what you’re looking for, Joel’s organized the content on the site just like your business – by department and function. If you are looking for something and can’t find it, please let him know.
